Born and raised in Palm Beach, Florida, sisters Beth Aschenbach (BA) and Danielle Norcross (DN) embody the radiant energy and effortless sophistication of their coastal upbringing. For the past seven years, the pair has cultivated a distinctive editorial voice through Palm Beach Lately, a blog-turned-brand that encompasses fashion, home, and travel through a distinctly beach-luxury lens. Now, the duo is extending their covetable vacation aesthetic to a wider audience with the debut of an impeccable vacation rental, aptly named The Pineapple Pad.

“We’ve enjoyed cultivating a unique Palm Beach style over the years and wanted to create a space where guests can come experience a stylish island getaway,” says Norcross. “A vacation rental is the perfect extension of our brand, so when the timing was right, we partnered with The Enjoy Company to help us bring it to life.”

Embroidered straw baskets, curated seashells, vivid pink travel cases, and vintage rattan accents populate the 400-square-foot interior, situated within the historic Palm Beach Hotel. From the delicately striped kitchenette awning to the bold pineapple wallpaper in the powder room, every detail has been considered to evoke an atmosphere of coastal delight.

BA: We embrace the buoyant, sun-drenched sensibility that makes Palm Beach design so distinctive. In both of our homes and our vacation rental, we began with a fresh foundation of light, airy neutrals softened by blush and mint accents, then layered in texture through seagrass rugs and rattan furniture, and completed the look with organic elements like orchids, palms, and shells.

DN: We evaluated several units within the hotel and selected the one with the most favorable layout—one that wouldn't require significant structural interventions like repositioning walls or reconfiguring the floor plan. Our primary objective was to brighten the space and introduce materials that evoke a classic island sensibility. Compact spaces reward bold design choices, but every decision must serve the goal of maximizing both function and atmosphere.

BA: We delighted in selecting each piece for the space, including the tailored blush sofa and the grasscloth credenza by Society Social, the pineapple chandelier and shell mirror from Frontgate, the mint palm-print bedding from Pottery Barn, luxurious white linens and towels from Pioneer Linens, and raffia glassware and wicker planters by Amanda Lindroth.

DN: Treasure Coast Carpet & Interiors and Waterview Kitchen executed the structural refinements beautifully—installing shiplap walls, laying wood floors, crafting new blush cabinetry in the kitchen, and converting the bathroom tub into an elegant shower.

DN: We've always been drawn to the colorful awnings that define Palm Beach's streetscape, and we love the idea of bringing that outdoor charm indoors. I first introduced the striped awning in our own kitchen, and the response from our followers was so enthusiastic that we knew it had to be a signature feature of the Pineapple Pad as well.
